Around 17,232 fruit-bearing trees were successfully planted by APN through the “Roots” or “Juthour” project (18 July 2019), which was completed in partnership with the Agricultural Relief Society as part of the “Million Tree” program in Palestine.

 The project targeted Surif village in Hebron Governorate, Sinjel Deir Ghassana, Bani Zaid Al-Sharqiya in Ramallah Governorate, Al-Sawiya and Asira North villages in Nablus Governorate, Atouf in Tubas, Shweikeh in Tulkarm Governorate, Arraba,

Al-Mughir and Al-Jadida villages in Jenin Governorate, in addition to Jayyous and Qalqilya. The trees, including olives, almonds, grapes, guava, citrus fruits and avocado were planted on 1,093 dunams belonging to 272 families. Moreover, a 72-cubic-meter water well was established at Burin Mixed Secondary School in Nablus, serving an area of ​​2-dunam of open cultivation and a plastic house, in addition to providing potable water for 270 students.
