As part of the Million Tree Campaign, APN planted 4,900 olive trees for 58 farmers in villages situated near Jerusalem. The primary objective is to fortify their resilience in the face of the Israeli occupation's attempts to confiscate their land.

APN General Manager, Mariam Al Jaajaa, emphasized that this activity is geared towards assisting Palestinian farmers who collectively own 205 dunums of agricultural land, supporting a total of 522 individuals. Al Jaajaa highlighted that the planted trees will play a crucial role in enhancing their income and fostering the development of the local economy.

Al Jaajaa highlighted that this activity is a response to the difficult circumstances confronting Palestinian farmers, given the persistent attacks by Israeli settlers. These attacks involve the destruction of agricultural facilities and equipment, along with the uprooting of trees, all designed with the intent of confiscating Palestinian land.

Al Jaajaa conveyed her gratitude to Life for Relief and Development, the contributor of this project, an organization dedicated to offering humanitarian and development aid across the globe. She urged increased cooperation and solidarity with Palestinian farmers who steadfastly preserve both their land and identity.
