Retirement opens the door to promising and productive opportunities, a realization that struck Adnan from the Souf area in Jerash Governorate. This is why he reached out to APN with the intention of cultivating his land. He wanted to green it, not only for environmental reasons but also to establish a sustainable source of livelihood for his family, consisting of nine members.

Following discussions with the farmer, the decision was made to plant peach trees, a valuable fruit with a good economic return. This decision was made due to its minimal water consumption requirements and compatibility with the local climate.

Without Tesco's contribution, this project would not have been able to plant 250 peach trees on a 4-dunum plot of land. Forty employees from the company participated in the planting, which was done in collaboration with Souf's Nashmiyat Association. Other company representatives in attendance included Hala Darwazeh, Talal Al-Hayek, and George Abdel-Massih, as well as APN General Manager, Mariam Al Jaajaa, and APN Projects Manager, Mohammad Qtaishat.
