The Wadi Al-Seer area stands as one of the agricultural regions in the Jordanian capital, Amman, where urban expansion encroached upon its lands. The name of this area still echoes the memory of its initial economic activities. In response, APN joined forces with 55 farmers who were determined to safeguard their land from further urban sprawl through cultivation. In an extraordinary initiative, the community came together to plant a total of 1,064 trees in two phases.

During the initial stage, we collaborated with the community to plant 442 trees, encompassing 16 varieties including olives, stone fruits, grapes, figs, and more. This effort was conducted in partnership with the Asayel Badr Charity Association, benefiting a total of 27 farmers. The subsequent phase involved the planting of 622 fruit trees across the lands of 28 farming families, bringing the entire initiative to completion.
