APN Co-Founder and Agricultural Advisor, Hassan Al Jaajaa, was invited to address the 16th General Assembly of the Pakistan Kissan Mazdoor Tehreek (PKMT) held on November 4, 2023, concerning the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, Palestine.

Commencing his address, Al Jaajaa delved into the historical context of the Israeli occupation in Palestine, dating as far back as 1907 when European nations agreed that Arab unity is a formidable force and potential threat to them. Accordingly, they set forth a plan to establish a foreign body in the heart of the region to promote this integration, division, and separation in the region. For the next century, Western governments persisted in their colonial ambitions in the region. This was realized through the Sykes-Picot agreement, the Balfour Declaration, the British mandate of Palestine, and culminated with the Nakba and declaration of Israel as an “independent” state in 1948.

In concluding his speech, Al Jaajaa underscored the resilience and steadfastness of the Palestinians, urging participants to unite in solidarity with them. He emphasized that supporting the Palestinian cause is not only just but also a collective right and obligation. Al Jaajaa called for a unified revolutionary front, encouraging the practice of humanity towards peace and justice in the world.
