The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN) attends the 1st Writeshop held in Fayoum – Egypt from March 19th-25th, 2022, organized by UN Habitat/GLTN.

After two years of hard work APN has successfully entered the final stages of editing the report/study, revolving around Land and Conflict in the Arab Region which aims to shed light on the effect land has had on conflict, and the counter effect conflict has had on land. APN completed this study as part of an Agreement of understanding with the UN-Habitat/Global Land Tool Network (GLTN), which feeds into a broader program promoting good land governance in the Arab region.

The aim of this Writeshop was to work on editing the final report and prepare and finalize the decision makers brief prior to the official publication date.
