In a four-month effort, The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature successfully planted 13,500 trees all over Palestine, with the support of the Kuwaiti Zakat House, which demonstrates the permanent position of the people of Kuwait in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people.

In Jerusalem, Gaza, Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Salfit and Jenin, and on areas covering over 455 dunams, olive trees, grapes, almonds, figs, lemons and pomegranates were planted, contributing to the support of 132 farmers and providing a source of income for nearly a thousand Palestinian people.

The benefit of planting these trees is not limited to the land and their owners in achieving food security only, but also contributes to increasing the vegetation cover on the land of Palestine and increasing the rate of carbon absorption, as this project contributes to absorbing more than 297 tons of carbon emissions.
