APN Supports Female Entrepreneurs in Gaza

Tasnim Abu Halima, a vibrant entrepreneur from Gaza, loved and believed in her work. With her simple financial means and strong determination, she managed to create her own small business to produce and raise chickens, which feed on Azola.

As the first young woman to become a beekeeper in Gaza, the entrepreneur Samar Al-Bo’a continues her passion in the footsteps of her father, who was martyred in 2006 on his land while working. She works more than ever like bees that are not hindered by any borders, flying towards their occupied land to collect their nectar and return victorious.

During the recent aggression on Gaza, Tasnim lost more than 500 chickens, and the project was completely disrupted. As for Samar’s project, it was destroyed by the occupation’s aggression, but her will and passion will not die. This prompted APN to take the initiative to support Tasnim, Samar, and others as part of its project "Strengthening the Resilience of Women's Projects in Gaza".

The project successfully helped 45 female entrepreneurs from Gaza to relaunch their projects, in partnership with the Gaza Urban Agriculture Platform, which had a fundamental role in the success of the projects and follow-up with the women entrepreneurs.
