A Campaign to Support MTC Program in Spain Receives Wide Support

As an affirmation of the universality of APN’s message and its role in sending the voice of Palestinian farmers to all over the world, the Islamic Fundraising Foundation, located in Spain, has launched a fundraising campaign for "The Million Tree" program, organized by APN, which aims to support Palestinian farmers, by planting fruit trees, to stand steadfast in the face of the repeated occupation attacks on his land.

On December 10, 2021, the campaign was launched with the goal of collecting donations in favor of planting 500 olive trees in Palestine. The campaign was widely received, bringing the amount of donations in just 10 days to ensure the cultivation of 620 olive trees, provided by 256 donors. Which will be cultivated in Gaza under the auspices of APN.

"The Million Tree" program, which carries the slogan "They uproot a tree, we replant ten” was able to plant 2 million and 600,000 fruitful trees across Palestine, over more than 130 thousand dunums, in which more than 29 thousand farmers and 215 thousand beneficiaries benefit from. Not to mention several other achievements in supporting the Palestinian agricultural sector.

Mr. Amin Al-Azizi, Director of Islamic Fundraising says: “We are very happy to launch this campaign, which was widely received by the Muslim community residing in Spain in particular, and from our donors from all over Europe and the world on an overall level. This campaign gave us the opportunity to demonstrate our solidarity with the Palestinian cause, in addition to highlighting the importance of protecting the environment and planting trees, which is an ongoing charity and a highly rewarding work, both for the donor and for the beneficiaries of the trees.”
