The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, represented by its Co-Founding Member and Chairperson, Eng. Hassan Al Jaajaa, agreed with LOYAC, a nonprofit organization working towards overall youth development, which was represented by the organization’s president in Lebanon, Mrs. Nadia Farhat, to formulate joint action requirements for planting trees in Lebanon, by targeting low-income farmers who have access to small holdings in which they wish to plant.

This agreement was reached after meeting twice with LOYAC's   President, Ms. Farhat,   and board members, Mrs. Duha Faraj and Fatima Al-Sabaa, in which  they all agreed that "LOYAC" would cooperate in directing its volunteers to support APN's activities in Lebanon, starting off with planting 200 fruit trees.

This agreement presents the positive outcome of the communication process that took place throughout the past few months between APN's President, Eng. Razan Zuayter, along with  LOYAC's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Fara’a Al-Saqqaf. It is expected that this cooperation will create new opportunities that would  support the agricultural sector for smallholders and encourage  volunteer work across the region.
