General Manager of the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature Mariam Al Jaahaa presented the Million Tree Program in Palestine as a successful model for sustainable production. She highlighted that this success had been made possible despite the challenges of occupation and colonialism (29 June 2021).

This presentation was made during a global discussion focused on promoting ​sustainable consumption and production in Asia. The event was organized by IBON Foundation, the People's Coalition for Food Sovereignty (PCFS), the Council for People's Development and Governance (CPDG), and the Climate Change Network for Community-based Initiatives (CCNCI).
