The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature planted 1000 trees with a variety of olives, grapes, and almonds on 40 dunums in a village near Ramallah (March 21, 2021).

The trees will benefit 6 farmers who support 36 family members. Most of these farmers suffer repeated attacks on their lands. The occupation has demolished fences and released wild animals onto the fields to destroy the crops.

The occupation has confiscated 90% of land in the village to date. The village is close to the so-called Green Line, and its people are known for their fierce resistance against the construction of the Apartheid Wall. Each week, villagers rally against the Wall, often under heavy attack from occupation forces.
