The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature planted 200 fruit trees near Jerusalem. The tree-planting campaign was supported by former Jordanian Prime Minister Taher al-Masri, and it was implemented in partnership with Al Nahda Rural Society. The trees will benefit 3 farmers who support 24 family members.

The trees cover 11 dunums threatened with confiscation by the occupation. This land is located next to a settlement bypass road and a forest planted by the occupation to prevent Palestinians from farming, thus being able to confiscate their lands.
