The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature planted 200 fruit trees on 11 dunums. The campaign has benefited 2 farmers who support 20 individuals in the village Ramallah. The tree-planting campaign was supported by Mr. Rami Al-Nazer and was implemented in partnership with the Ramallah Farmers' Association (January 9, 2021).

Abu Saleh, a farmer who is a beneficiary of the campaign, said that he was forced to leave his land and look for employment elsewhere. He noted that this type of support helps farmers realize their responsibility towards their lands and allows them the opportunity to work on them and generate income. They are now able to preserve their lands in the face of attempts by settlers to seize them.

Occupation forces continue to confiscate hundreds of dunums in the village to use as part of settlement projects. The settlements of Shilo, Ma'ale Levona, Givat Harel, and Eliah are sitting on 3000 dunums belonging to the village, which is only 22000 dunums. Around 70% of land in the village is subjected to Israeli military control in a zone which is called Area C.
