In an initiative that embodies the meaning of friendship and honor, a group of foreign activists covered the cost of planting 215 olive, grape, and almond trees with APN. The trees were planted in Jerusalem as a tribute to their Canadian friend, Muhammad Yunus Mirza, who passed away after a lifetime of working to advance the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.

The trees cover an area of 14 dunums in Jerusalem and benefit 4 farmers, who support 25 individuals.
