Razan Zuaiter met with a group of young volunteers who call themselves the Young Friends of APN in Qatar on 29 September 2014 to coordinate efforts to support the group’s emergency campaign for the rehabilitation of the agricultural sector in the Gaza Strip.

Zuaiter presented a report on APN’s tree-planting campaigns in Jordan and Palestine at the meeting.In 2013 The Young Friends of APN in Qatar organized a campaign to collect donations to support the farmers of BeitSurik village. They were able to collect donations for planting 1650 fruit trees (1350 olive, 160 fig, 140 citrus) on 110 acres, benefiting 29 farmers.
