Turmusaya Massacre of the Land.
During the first morning of Eid Al Adha, "Abu Ibrahim" Talal Jbara from Turmusaya - Ramallah, arrived at his farm to find over 200 olive plantations targeted and uprooted by settlers from a nearby settlement. Not only did they massacre the trees, but they also destroyed the water tanks.
The matter did not stop there, as the settlers continued their destruction on the land; they cut down Abu Ibrahim's neighbour's farm fence (Abu Samir al-Sweiki), cutting down more than 250 peach, plum, fig, almond and grape vines
The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN) along with the efforts of its friends and team members, pledges to continue its work of replanting the land in line with its commitment and responsibility as towards the land of Palestine.
APN launched an appeal today Tuesday 12 July , a call for replanting 450 trees to support farmers Abu Ibrahim and Abu Samir. So far we have collected contributions for the 150 trees as 300 more remain to be planted.
Contribute towards planting trees through the following link, and support those farmers from being uprooted from their lands. A single tree costs 5JDs ($7).
