Signing a new agreement to plant 20 thousand fruitful seedlings in Palestine | The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature

Within the second campaign of planting one million trees in Palestine, APN signed on August 18 an agreement with the Welfare Association and the Union of Palestinian Farmers associations to grow nearly 20 thousand fruitful seedlings  in Nablus, Bethlehem, Jenin, Hebron and Tulkarem, in order to support Palestinian farmers and secure a source of livelihood for more than 500 families, where it is scheduled for the project to cover approximately 1070 acres, and will provide about 1,200 temporary jobs.

 It is noted that the campaign of planting one million trees so far managed to plant 1.6 million tree seedlings of olive and fruit trees spread over an area of 59.450 acres to meet the needs of 14.620 dependent farmer families of which there are 116.253 individuals.
