حفر آبار جديدة في أكناف بيت المقدس

Two water supply wells were recently dug and constructed in lands threatened with confiscation in the Palestinian villages of Qubeibah and Beit Exsa in occupied Jerusalem. The construction work was part of APN’s third one million tree program executed within its ‘Aknaf Beit Al-Maqdes’ project 2.

It involved planting of 1,800 thousand  olive, almond tree saplings and grapes vines. The project is financed by the International Islamic Charitable Organization, in conjunction with the Palestinian Rural Development Association in north-west Jerusalem.

Fifty dunums of land will be cultivated benefiting 48 farmers with 330 household members. The project will cover lands in the villages of Bedou, Beit Exca, Omm el-Lahem, and Nabi Samuel.
