Interview on Jordan TV to Talk about APN’s Mother's Day Campaign | The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature

Samar Gharayba, who hosts the New Day program on Jordan TV hosted Farah Qaddourah and Dana Jadallah of APN and Leen Karat, a student at the Arab Model School, and they spoke about  APN’s mother’s day campaign that was launched in March of 2014.

Farah spoke about events carried out by APN as part of the If You Know awareness campaign which included lectures that were given to more than 1,000 students by a group of volunteers.  She also told the audience about the several bazaars that APN participated in during mother’s day festivities and the new line of products that was introduced during these events such as coasters and shirts with the names of Palestinian and Jordanian cities.

She also told the audience about the role of the volunteers in the design and manufacture of the new line of products. She concluded her visit by talking about the tree planting trip that was organized as part of mother’s day festivities in Dulayl near Zarka. 

APN volunteer Dana during the visit pointed that APN is an institution that serves the nation and society by educating students and supporting farmers in Jordan and Palestine.

She also spoke about APN’s initiative to honor mothers by having their children plant trees in their names in Jordan, Palestine. She said that it was a unique initiative that brought the true meaning of the mothers and family bonding. Leen, who is a high school student, told the audience how much she learned from the If You Know Campaign, which motivated her to become a volunteer with APN. Leen organized agriculture initiatives at her school and also managed to collect donations for planting 33 trees.
