On Monday 19 May 2014, an event was organized at Wild Jordan to announce the inauguration of the Jordanian Federation for Environmental NGOs.

The event was attended by Minster of Environment, Secretary General of Ministry of Environment, a group of presidents of environment societies, and environment activists in Jordan.

A delegation of APN comprising of Engineer Zuayter, APN President, Rami Barhoush, Vice President, Engineer Farah Kaddoura and Engineer Mohammad Qtaishat attended the event.It is noteworthy that the Arab Group for Protection of Nature (APN) is one of the eight co-founders of the Federation.

 APN participated in the activity organized by OXFAM organization on the occasion of World Environment Day at Islamic Center Society in Safut on 5th of June 2014.

APN, represented by volunteer Qais Al-Hinti, moderated a dialogue session attended by a group of Syrian and Palestinian refugees residing in Baqa' Camp and Safut on the environmental situation in Jordan and possibility to use tops of houses for plantation.
