Outside Amman and near Qasr al-Hallabat, one of the historic palaces in Jordan, APN's team visited the girls secondary school in the area, considered to be one of the disadvantaged schools, to support the students by planting fruit trees.

As part of APN’s awareness programme “If Only You Knew” targeting school and university students, the tenth-grade students in Qasr al-Hallabat school attended a lecture on the environmental and agricultural sectors in Jordan, which was positively received. The lecture's topic linked food sovereignty with agriculture and the protection of environmental resources, and the role of every person to act responsibly in society.

APN’s team concluded its visit to the school by planting 30 fruit trees of almonds, olives, apples, figs, and pomegranates, under APN’s Green Caravan programme, whereby the produce of the trees would support the disadvantaged student fund.
