APN | Al Hussein Youth City – Sports City

In an interactive special community event held by APN in Al Hussein Youth City - Sports City, on Saturday 4 March 2023, 120 Jacaranda, Melia azedarach, Carob trees were planted, within the Green Caravan program, with support from the Engineering and Development Group (Edgo), in celebration of Arbor Day, and with the participation of volunteers from the employees of the company and their families.

The event is a continuation of the agricultural activities led by APN in the Sports City forest, to enhance Jordan’s green cover and promote environmental conservation.

This initiative from Edgo Company emerged as one of its initiatives that aims to support and develop local communities within its corporate social responsibility programs, and to complement the company’s vision since its launching in the 1950s to balance between its business activities and striving to improve the environment in partnership with the sectors of society.

APN’s Technical Expert, Hassan Al Jaajaa, and APN’s Project Manager, Mohammad Qtaishat presented an overview on the importance of agriculture and the necessity of safeguarding Jordan’s green cover and enhancing it.
