The "Green Caravan", led by APN, continues its way towards the Subaihi area of ​​Al-Salt Governorate, north of Amman (Jordanian capital).  The project took place on the 7th of September in collaboration with Bank Audi and “Nawa” Initiative, where 200 fruit-bearing trees were planted.The “Green Caravan”, one of APN’'s most prominent projects, aims to empower Jordanian farmers, increase green cover, and reduce desertification.Mohammad Qtaishat, APN’s Project Manager, stated that such activities are of utmost importance, especially that many farmers need support to continue to care for their land. Qtaishat also added: “This is what APN is trying to achieve since the launch of the “Green Caravan” project in 2003 through partnerships with various institutions”. Ronza Qusus, from Bank Audi, explained that volunteering in the “Green Caravan” project reflects the Bank's ultimate goals for achieving and sustaining food security.Almost 20 employees from Bank Audi participated in this planting activity, in collaboration with the “Nashmiyat Bayuda” Initiative. Participants expressed their contentment to participate in such events, pointing out the importance of working and volunteering towards improving our  environment and promoting stronger belonging to the land.
