Mariam Al Jaajaa, APN General Manager, emphasized that by expanding the umbrella of collaboration and providing the necessary support, Revive Gaza’s Farmland Project could meet, even partially, the essential food needs of Gazans. This comes in light of the famine caused by the ongoing blockade, the occupation’s targeting of agricultural and food facilities, and the closure of humanitarian crossings.
During a meeting hosted by entrepreneur Dana Al Hanbali with a group of leaders and influential figures from Kuwait, Jordan, the UAE, Bahrain, Pakistan, and Oman, Al Jaajaa and APN Partner Duaa Aqel urged immediate action to address the famine and to work towards practical solutions.
Al Hanbali stated that understanding the role and importance of food sovereignty for the people of Gaza could provide genuine guidance on the most effective ways to offer assistance, leading to meaningful change even in the harshest circumstances. She expressed gratitude to APN for highlighting Revive Gaza’s Farmland Project, affirming that it is the least that can be done for the people of Gaza, whose incredible strength and steadfastness continue to inspire change despite the most challenging conditions.
The meeting aimed to develop solutions to effectively address Gaza's immediate and critical needs in ways that go beyond traditional donations, fostering collaboration among participants and their institutions to exchange ideas and actively contribute to sustainable and impactful initiatives.
