In an effort to support farmers in Jerusalem and anchor them on their lands, the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature launched the “Plant Your Resilience Campaign”. The campaign was launched on 2/08/2017 in collaboration with Radio Husna with the aim of raising donations to plant fruit trees and construct water collection tanks across villages in Jerusalem.

The “Plant Your Resilience” Campaign is part of the Million Tree Campaign that was initiated by APN and its partners under the slogan “they uproot one tree.. we replant ten”. The campaign works to replant fruit trees, extend irrigation networks, and construct greenhouses, among other projects aimed at economic empowerment.

Plant Your Resilience achieved incredible success, raising enough money to plant 23,550 trees and construct 7 water reservoirs.  

The incredible lady molokhia merchant managed to wage a storm of compassion on social media in response to her successful initiative to raise money for 4 trees.
