APN and the Kuwait Society for Relief signed a memorandum of understanding to implement an agricultural rehabilitation project in the Gaza Strip, with the support of the Direct Aid Society, and supervision from the Kuwait Society for Relief.

The year-long project will supply agricultural and fodder seeds, various vegetable seedlings, fertilizers, and pesticides. It will also extend irrigation networks and provide covers for greenhouses and agricultural ponds.

This project is considered part of the APN’s “Revive Gaza’s Farmland” project, launched last March in response to the requests of Gaza’s farmers. The project aims to resist the famine imposed on Gazans by the occupation which has systematically targeted and destroyed agricultural facilities since October 7th.
