APN | Ghor as-Safi

In a new activity to bolster the partnership between Central Bank of Jordan  and APN to support the agricultural sector, APN planted as part of its programme “The Green Caravan” in Jordan 300 citrus and guava trees in Ghor as-Safi with support from the bank.

50 volunteers from the Central Bank of Jordan  participated in the planting activity under the supervision of the “Local Community Support” committee. The participants planted trees on a land owned by two farming families consisting of 16 persons, whereby the produce of those trees will contribute to improving their economic situation, and land reclamation.

It is noteworthy to mention that APN planted around 170 thousand trees in Jordan, to support small farmers in marginalized and disadvantaged areas.
