The fisherman Subhi Ulwan from the city of Khan Younis was not derelict to secure his daily bread and feed his family from the bounties of the Gaza sea for more than 40 years, but the war waged by Israel on Gaza in 2021, forced him to be at a distance from the sea, after Zionist missiles destroyed his boat which constitutes the only means enabling him to fish.

Emanating from the slogan “We are present where we must be present” APN did not fail in carrying out its duty to help the fisherman Subhi and his family of 12, and with a noble gesture from Mr. Hussein Barhoush, the destroyed fishing boat was rehabilitated to return to the Gaza Sea in search of a livelihood and blessing.

Moreover, Ulwan was supplied with new fishing equipment and gear, to compensate for the destruction of the boat, and accordingly, the Million Tree Campaign shall have stood by the farmers of land and sea, in the process challenging every obstacle placed by the occupation in the face of the Palestinian agricultural sector.
