APN provides the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee with 150 trees, to be planted in the village of Ein Hijleh, in the Palestinian rift valley, and by the Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC).

Hundreds of IDF soldiers occupied the village and attacked the men, women and children, and forced them to leave the village after the activists renovated the village on Friday, January 31st in 2014, on the territory of Ein Hijleh as part of a campaign named ‘Salt of the Earth’ .

The village was established to affirm Palestinian identity in the rift valley and reject Israel’s settlement schemes.During the last week of the month of January, IDF soldiers and settlers tried to storm the village more than once.

They wounded two Palestinians and the confrontations were recorded.
