(Amman 1st December, 2009) APN Joined «Earth Charter» during the meeting that was held at the headquarters of the The Royal Marine Consernation Society of Jordan (JREDS).

The «Earth Charter» represents global network of individuals, organizations, and institutions that work to promote and implement the values and principles of this Charter. It is an initiative that is a broad volunteer -based including a number of civil society organizations and participants from major  international institutions, agencies, associations of universities, non - governmental organizations, community groups, religious groups, schools and businesses as well as thousands of individuals.

the Earth Charter is considered an international declaration of values and principles for building a just and sustainable peace for global community. It was established through a global consultative process adopted by international organizations representing millions of people. The Charter seeks to stimulate a sense of global interdependence and shared responsibility among all peoples and calls for humanity for assistance in creating a global partnership.
