APN organized a series of meetings and visits to discuss constructing a new environmental and sustainable garden at the Jerash refugee camp’s Secondary School for Girls. Sanabel Landscape Design and Services, has volunteered to design the garden as part of its corporate social responsibility program.

The aim of the project is to create an outdoor outlet for students and a space for participatory learning.APN and Sanabel organized two consultation meetings with the school’s principal, staff and students to identify their needs and priorities and to discuss the initial design. The school contains large non functional areas of cement and some green areas that are closed and considered not safe for use.

APN hopes to rehabilitate the space, making it available and functional for 3000 students as well as the teaching staff.
