In 2022, the Israeli occupation issued a military order to confiscate 3,492 dunums of land in the village of Aqraba, located southeast of Nablus. Aqraba has a tumultuous history with settler colonialism, evident in documents uncovering an attempt to seize the village's land in 1972, supposedly to turn it into a military training area. Despite the challenges, the residents exhibited unwavering resilience, refusing to leave their land and persevering in its cultivation. This resistance subjected them to intense attacks by the occupation, causing damage to their agricultural tools and destruction of their crops. Moreover, the occupation employed a drastic measure, spraying the land with toxic chemicals, lethal to animals and hazardous to human health.

Fulfilling our commitment to stand alongside the people of Aqraba, we planted 4,241 fruit trees on an area of 146 dunums belonging to 42 agricultural families comprising 322 steadfast individuals.
