Jorish holds significance as the hometown of one of the heroes from the Battle of Karameh, the martyr Abdul Ghani Abdul Rahman Al-Latayfah. He etched the history of the struggle with his blood, symbolizing the unity of the two riverbanks within one person standing against the occupation. As part of our Million Tree Campaign in Palestine, we planted 200 fruit trees in this village in the Nablus Governorate. This activity, supported by the Arab Technical Group (ATG), aimed to assist farmers facing the imminent threat of land confiscation.
