APN has planted a variety of tree seedlings in Ghor Al-Mazra in the Jordan Valley in Jordan in cooperation with Zikra Initiative and Al-Afaq Al-Mud’eea School.

The planting activity which took place on April 8th, 2015 included growing pomegranate, guava, fig, pomelo, lemon and olive tree seedlings.The work was part of an agricultural activity within the Mother’s Day campaign to plant fruit trees in homes of a group of the village mothers and in the ground of two mosques and the secondary Tawahin Al-Sukkar mixed school. The move aims to enhance food security in the area which suffers from severe poverty and has been unable to develop agriculture as an important source of national income.
