The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature answered the plea of Palestinian farmers in the area of Al-Qobba in Tubas governorate, located in the Northern Jordan Valley on the Palestinian side, to protect their lands from confiscation which is subjected to daily attacks by settlers who are protected by the occupation’s army, claiming that it is fallow land.

In support of numerous steadfast farmers in the area, the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature quickly launched a campaign to protect those lands by planting 500 dunums with wheat seeds. This intervention comes at a time when the most radical Zionist government is threatening to expropriate the Palestinian Jordan Valley along with accompanying Judaization steps depicted in through intensifying confiscation operations based on the legislation of fallow lands, which the occupation falsifies to steal the lands of Palestinians who are prohibited from using about 85% of the Jordan Valley and the northern Dead Sea, according to "Israeli" human rights reports.

The Chair of the Board of the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, Eng. Razan Zuayter, commented by saying, "As a Jordanian and Arab organization, we consider it our duty and obligation to protect and conserve Palestinian territories. We continue in our efforts that began two decades ago in supporting Palestinian farmers, particularly those who live in Area C, those close to the Apartheid Wall and illegal settlements, and those on lands that have been bulldozed, bombed, and destroyed as part of a silent agricultural war on the Gaza Strip.”
