On February 19, APN held an awareness lecture and lively dialogue session in which 15 young activists of Yaroub Charity Development Association (ages 20-30) participated.

The lecture was given by Deyar Muhaisen, responsible for APN’s awareness-raising “If Only You Knew" program. Muhaisen outlined the reality of food sovereignty in light of the coronavirus crisis and ongoing wars and conflicts. She also discussed the impact of humanitarian support on food security.

After Muhaisen described APN’s role in enhancing food security in Jordan and Palestine, participants expressed their desire to work with APN on joint volunteer activities, as well as a budding interest in contributing to children’s awareness with Yaroub, a pioneering institution in the context of developmental and social work with children.
