The Arab Group For The Protection of Nature planted 1000 olive trees on 40 dunums in Jerusalem to commemorate Land Day. The tree-planting campaign was supported by the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine and was implemented in partnership with Al Nahda Rural Society (April 3, 2021).   

General Manager of the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature Mariam Al Jaajaa said, "The extraordinary heroism and sacrifice of the Palestinian people on Land Day 45 years ago sharpen our drive to continue to preserve the land." She added that "ways to protect the land vary, but one of the most important is support for owners by planting fruit trees, so they are able to withstand Israeli attacks and attempts to seize their lands." 

The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature and the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine launched the 'Together We Plant Palestine' campaign for people to make donations that will go towards planting the trees in Jerusalem
