With great enthusiasm, The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature finished the project of planting 4,000 trees throughout the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, supported by “Velida” company. More than 50 of the company’s employees participated in this activity, which took place in the Central Jordan Valley on October 16 October 2021.

This activity was the culmination of a year-long effort in which the activities of this project were held in most of the governorates of the Kingdom, from Jerash, Ajloun and Irbid in the north, through Zarqa and Subaihi in Salt and the southern and central valleys, all the way to Karak and Tafileh in the south.

The trees were planted on an area of more than 100 dunums, from which 250 farmers were benefited. This project provided a stable source of income for the farmers, and preserved their food security, which is the main goal that APN always seeks in all its projects and activities.
