To enhance the steadfastness of the people in the occupied territories in light of the difficult conditions imposed by both the coronavirus pandemic and the occupation, APN has worked to implement a“home gardens” project with Al-Nahda Rural Society in the villages of northwestern Jerusalem.

This specific project helped 900 Jerusalemite families to create their own gardens through the distribution of 70,000 tomato seedlings, 15kg of zucchini seeds, 10kg of cucumber seeds, 16kg of cowpea seeds, 10kg of okra seeds, and 15kg of bean seeds.

APN looks forward to the beneficiaries distributing their surplus home garden production to neighbors who were unable to cultivate, in order to reinforce the spirit of cooperation and solidarity.
