In response to an urgent appeal from farmers in the village of Al-Minya in Bethlehem, APN successfully planted 600 olive trees to support the steadfastness of the community and protect their land from confiscation and displacement.

This activity comes amid escalating tensions in the village in the West Bank, where the Al-Shallal family was violently attacked by 55 settlers under the protection of the Israeli military. The attacks resulted in 15 injuries and the burning of five houses in the eastern part of Al-Minya.

The region is witnessing an unprecedented wave of land seizures, alongside house burnings, crop thefts, and forced evictions of families from their lands. In response to this dire situation, the head of the Al-Minya Village Council issued an urgent call to protect the village and support farmers in their steadfastness.

This action strengthens farmers' ability to hold onto their land and brings renewed hope to their hearts in the face of harsh conditions that threaten their security and livelihoods.
