APN has completed the planting of 2,000 fruit trees with support of Housing Bank’s diamond sponsorship of the Green Caravan programme. The planting took place through several activities in different areas, with the latest being the planting of 500 trees on a farm in the Deir Alla area of the Central Jordan Valley.

After the volunteers finished planting the trees, they visited the land of a farmer with whom APN had previously partnered, with support from Housing Bank, to assist in harvesting lemons.

Earlier this year, 1,250 trees were planted across lands in Aqaba and Ma'an, and 250 trees were planted in Ajloun. The trees ranged from olive to citrus varieties.

This strategic partnership between APN and Housing Bank aims to enhance food security for small farmers, expand green areas, and combat desertification.
