Six months since the launch of the “Revive Gaza’s Farmland” project, APN has successfully rehabilitated around 600 dunums of agricultural land across northern, central, and southern Gaza, reaching 270 farmers so far.

In the past two months, APN has cultivated 155 dunums in northern Gaza with approximately 231,390 vegetable seedlings, including eggplant, cucumber, zucchini, tomatoes, cauliflower, and 200 kilograms of Rumex (Humses), benefiting 85 farmers who support 509 individuals.

Additionally, APN rehabilitated 54 dunums in Rafah and southern Gaza, planting around 142,400 seedlings of tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, and sweet peppers.

This project, launched by APN in conjunction with Palestinian Land Day last March, responds to the urgent calls of Gaza's farmers facing the war of starvation imposed by the occupation since October 7 of last year.
