The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature conducted a random inspection tour of some of its projects completed in the past few years.

The scene was astonishing at a vineyard in the Palestinian Jordan Valley supported by the organization. The lands of 25 farmers began to bear fruits. The support provided to them has had a tremendous economic impact—one of these acres harvests about 4 tons of seedless grapes and 50 kilos of grape leaves.

Grapevines filled the land of a farmer the organization supported a few years ago in Tannum near Tubbas. The farmer is now able to produce 2-4 tons of grapes each year.

Abu Samer, who supports a family of 7 and owns 2.5 acres of land at one of the stops, expressed his overwhelming happiness with avocado production on his farm. One dunam produces an average of 2.5 tons of avocados. The avocados are exported to Jordan for 1 JOD per kilo. Thus 1 dunum saves up to 2,500 JOD.

The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature expressed gratitude to the farmers through their representative in Palestine, Mr. Ibrahim Manasrah. He thanked the farmers on behalf of the organization for managing their lands well and for the promising produce, which was made possible through generous donations to the organization's campaigns.
