The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature planted 2000 fruit trees in Hebron and Ramallah. The tree-planting campaign was supported by Ayla Oasis Development Company and implemented in partnership with the Ramallah Farmers' Association (January 4, 2021).

The olive and almond trees cover 74 dunums. They will benefit 16 farmers who support 106 family members.

Abu Khalil, a beneficiary of the campaign, spoke about its great value due to constant threats of confiscation and harassment by settlers. He tells us that settlers have attacked his land five times, including cutting down mature trees.

Abu Khalil, who supports 15 individuals, inherited the farming trade from his father 7 decades ago. He noted that 4 of his children were able to graduate due to income he was able to generate from the trees.
