On January 2, APN’s "If Only You Knew" program and Kuwait Environment Protection Society’s “For Each Spring Flower” program delivered an environmental awareness lecture to 15 children from Palestine, Jordan, Qatar, and Algeria. The lecture, presented by APN’s Deyar Muhaisen, covered the importance of agriculture and its role in enhancing food security and environmental health. The children expressed their desire to reflect on and apply what they had learned.

Some of the children shared poems, and after hearing about the importance of agriculture for protecting Palestinian land from colonialism, some shared their thoughts and pictures of Palestine. 

One of the children, Yusef Manasrah, spoke with great enthusiasm about his experience with an APN tree planting activity (part of the Million Tree Campaign) that protected the Palestinian land he lives near.
