APN held an in-depth dialogue session with an international delegation consisting of 11 journalists, experts, and activists working in the fields of climate justice and environmental protection. The delegation included members from the United States, Brazil, the Philippines, and India, and their visit to Jordan aimed to learn more about environmental efforts in the region.

During the session, APN’s team gave a comprehensive presentation on the organization’s programmes and projects, particularly in the area of strengthening food sovereignty, while also highlighting the environmental and humanitarian violations faced by communities in the region under occupation.

The discussion also addressed the issue of greenwashing and its role in concealing environmental violations behind deceptive marketing fronts. In addition, APN’s team presented an in-depth historical overview of settler colonialism in Palestine and its connection to environmental justice.

The meeting served as a platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange. Members of the delegation expressed deep interest in the organization’s work and its integrated approach to linking environmental and political justice issues, emphasizing the importance of building global solidarity among environmental justice movements.

The following day, the delegation traveled to Palestine, where they toured Bethlehem accompanied by APN’s team there, and participated in planting fruit trees for a number of farmers in the area.
