APN General Manager, Mariam Al Jaajaa, spoke in a podcast episode hosted by the International League of Peoples’ Struggle (ILPS) on the occasion of Palestinian Land Day. The episode addressed the situation in Palestine amid the ongoing Israeli aggression, emphasizing that the occupation systematically uses starvation and the destruction of agriculture and the environment as tools of genocide, alongside escalating settlement expansion and the displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank.
She stressed that strengthening food sovereignty represents one of the most important forms of resistance, highlighting APN’s work in cultivating land, supporting farmers, and confronting the impacts of the war through the Revive Gaza’s Farmland project and Million Tree Campaign in Palestine. She also underscored the need to expand global popular solidarity and build alliances among peoples’ movements to confront colonialism and imperialism, and to defend land, rights, and justice.
This episode is part of a series of educational and mobilizing activities against colonialism and imperialism regularly organized by ILPS for its members.
