APN General Manager Mariam Al Jaajaa took part in a workshop organised by the “Unsettled Earth” project, an educational program and art exhibition formed in collaboration with grassroots initiatives. The project centers on researching the practices and infrastructures that reconfigure relationships between land and life amid escalating colonial violence and ecocide.
This workshop drew on an ongoing collective research effort into the history of grassroots organising, the economy of resistance, and agrarian struggle in Bilad al-Sham. It examined how resistant agricultural practices operate not only as means of subsistence, but also as political infrastructures that enable continuity, autonomy, and collective steadfastness.
During the workshop, Al Jaajaa presented APN’s efforts to rebuild food sovereignty in Palestine through the Million Tree Campaign, as well as our work in Gaza through the “Revive Gaza’s Farmland” project amid the occupation’s ongoing genocide and ecocide.
