During the Arab Land Initiative’s Reference Group meeting in Cairo hosted by the League of Arab States and co-organised by UN-Habitat and UNESCWA, APN General Manager, Mariam Al Jaajaa, emphasized the importance of publishing, translating, and distributing the study "Land and Conflict in the Arab World" conducted in collaboration with APN.

Al Jaajaa called for raising awareness of the study's findings and launching a pilot project focused on land conflict resolution in the regions covered by the study.

She also raised a question about the crucial role of the committee in Gaza and Sudan, especially in the context of genocide and ecocide, particularly the use of internationally banned chemical weapons.
